Camellia has been using Brown Cove in the Inlynnview section of Great Neck as a base of flight operations for the past three days. He was last over Chesapeake Bay (YELLOW arrow Jan 12 at 10:00am). He flew from there to Chubb Lake at Little Creek Amphib Base, then to First Landing State Park, then to home base – Brown Cove (PINK pointer Jan 13 at 1:00am). On both Jan 13 and 14 he roamed over Great Neck, Broad Bay, Bay Island then returned to Brown Cove (GREEN pointer Jan 14 at 1:00am, PURPLE pointer Jan 15 at 1:00am). This morning Camellia flew over to Linkhorn Bay and as of this map appears to be in flight headed for Virginia Beach Sentara Hospital on First Colonial Rd (WHITE arrow Jan 15 at 11:00am).

We had an afternoon visit on our log in the lake this week. I could not get positive ID, but it was a young eagle. He took and drink and flew off quickly.
