CAMELLIA (2010 Purple band NC) sends his best wishes for a MERRY CHRISTMAS to all his supporters courtesy of photographer Duane Noblick who captured this image (used with permission) at Lake Taylor in Norfolk (2 miles south of NBG) on Saturday morning Dec 24 (PURPLE pin on map). Duane will publish additional photos of Camellia on the www.norfolkeagles.com web site later today, as well as photos of 2009 Purple banded eagle HE (sister to Azalea) which he photographed at Honey Bee Golf Course also yesterday Dec 24!!! Way to go Duane!!

Camellia was last at Lake Smith in Va Beach (YELLOW arrow Dec 22 at 1:00am). He flew from there to the Elizabeth River in Norfolk and then spent the night at Turtle Lake in Carolanne Farms in Va Beach (Pink pointer Dec 23 at 1:00am). From there he flew to Lake Taylor on both sides of I-64, and on to Lake Whitehurst opposite the freight terminal at Norfolk International Airport (GREEN pointer Dec 24 at 1:00am). Camellia returned to Lake Taylor (PURPLE pin) the morning of Dec 24 where Duane got his photos. As of this map Camellia is back at Turtle Lake in Carolanne Farms (same place as pink pointer) – WHITE arrow Dec 24 at 6:00pm. Click maps and photo to enlarge. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!
