Thank you so much for sharing these photos Mr. Lukei. It’s great to know that the female is getting settled with her new surroundings. I was wondering, when taking photos like these are you observing any particular characteristics or behaviors that the new female exhibits?
So very pretty….and a little sleepy. In the last photo it appears that her “third” eyelid is closed as well. What a beauty and thank you, Reese for your wonderful work.
Thank you Reese for all your good work and for your love of this family. I am very happy that we know about where everybody is. Dad and his fiancée at their nest, Buddy in his new home, Azalea growing up safely and on pictures, Camelia around the Gardens and NX phoning home. I can not wait for the new season to begin but will never forget Mom. Have a very good day.
I am so glad for you that you are able to have a smile on your face thinking about next year. You deserve great things for all you went thru this year.
This has been my first year on eagle cams. My heart was broken when we lost lady legacy. While I have followed other sites, this nest is where my heart is. Thank you for filling in the sorrow with the chance of new dreams and new hopes. I am wiser and understand nature always has bad times, but our eagles keep moving forward as we all must.
Can not really say it better than Judy M…Magnificent pictures of beautiful Mom and Dad.Am sure their babies will be beautiful….Thank you for always sharing..
I’ve had a somewhat enforced absence from the critter cam and chat for a few weeks and missed all the excitement (I assume there was LOTS of excitement!) over a new female :-(. So I’m doubly thrilled to see these photos. Thanks so much, Reese, for bothering with us all over again! Here’s to a wonderful year!!!
Isn’t it wonderful that she is settling right in to the garden and nest in a beautiful way. She is lovely and sturdy and will make prize mom for the little ones that we so adore. Love your steadfast considerations of all these eagles.
Thank you so much Reese for posting those pictures of our new lady, can’t wait to see those little bobble heads arrive and it’s going to be exciting just to see how she deals with them …

From your pictures can you determine if she has been banded?
Response – She is not banded

Reese – I bet you are grinning from ear to ear – just like the rest of us! She is beautiful! Thank you for bringing these to us and for all you do.
Wow, love that second photo :o) Absolutely beautiful!
Reese, thanks so much for the pictures of dad’s new mate.
Wow, great pix. The 3rd picture almost looks like she is aware she is being recorded!
Thanks So Much for the awesome pics! If she is as young as you think she is, she couldn’t have picked a more experienced, and successful mate.
She is so beautiful! And she looks so sleepy! Thanks for these wonderful pics!
