Thank you so much for sharing these photos Mr. Lukei. It’s great to know that the female is getting settled with her new surroundings. I was wondering, when taking photos like these are you observing any particular characteristics or behaviors that the new female exhibits?

This has been my first year on eagle cams. My heart was broken when we lost lady legacy. While I have followed other sites, this nest is where my heart is. Thank you for filling in the sorrow with the chance of new dreams and new hopes. I am wiser and understand nature always has bad times, but our eagles keep moving forward as we all must.

I’ve had a somewhat enforced absence from the critter cam and chat for a few weeks and missed all the excitement (I assume there was LOTS of excitement!) over a new female :-(. So I’m doubly thrilled to see these photos. Thanks so much, Reese, for bothering with us all over again! Here’s to a wonderful year!!!
Isn’t it wonderful that she is settling right in to the garden and nest in a beautiful way. She is lovely and sturdy and will make prize mom for the little ones that we so adore. Love your steadfast considerations of all these eagles.
