Azalea has left Northumberland County and flown south about 40 miles along the shore of the Chesapeake Bay to Mathews County, VA. After spending about two weeks in Northumberland on the Little Wicomico River (White arrow Sept 30 7:00pm) and Smith Point, she left there the morning of Oct 2 and by 3:00pm was in Mathews County. She spent all day Oct 3 just east of Diggs, VA and as of this satellite map at 9:00am Oct 4 (today) is on the south end of Rigby Island in Chesapeake Bay – Yellow arrow. Click maps to enlarge.
Update Oct 5 – Looks like Azalea continued south and by evening Oct 4 was back in Va Beach. Details on Oct 7.
