Azalea has not wandered far since her last satellite map at 1:00am Sept 18. She has stayed right along the shore of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay where the Little Wicomico River empties into Chesapeake Bay. The Wildlife Center of Virginia web site (www.wildlifecenter.org) shows that NX is close by on the Little Wicomico River as of Sept 19. As of this satellite map at 11:00am Sept 21, Azalea is on Bamboo Island at the mouth of the Potomac River – white arrow.

Thank you.
New update on NX showing she is just up river a ways from Azalea. Interesting.
Reece– Do both birds enjoy fish from the salt eater as well as fresh waters? I do know some of that area is fresh water.
So great to see them still in my area. They have the best of all worlds, .. beach, spa, great food, big trees, and no one to bother them. They are welcome here for weeks!!!!~~~~~ Google earth shows the area perfectly.
Response – Eagles will forage on both fresh and salt water fish, but seem to have a preference for fresh water fish. – Reese
