Camellia spent a few days flying about in Gloucester County, but has now returned to a very familiar location – the Eastern Branch of the Elizabeth River near Military Highway. Camellia flew to Gloucester County the morning of June 16, and made a return flight along almost the same flight path leaving Gloucester about 11:00am June 20, arriving about 2:00pm in the Elizabeth Park/Woodbine neighborhood in Norfolk on the Elizabeth River. He is flying back and forth across the river from Norfolk to Virginia Beach and as of this map at 7:00pm June 20 he is in MacDonald Park in Virginia Beach. Click on maps to enlarge.

Travel is always fun, but there’s no place like home! It is such a pleasure to be able to follow Azalea and Camellia. Thanks Reese.
As I crossed the Wayside Bridge the other day, I was wishing Camellia would come back to that area…and he did! I hope he sticks around long enough for me to see him and hopefully, get a picture! Thanks for the update!
Really amazing you can track them so accurately. I live near a large wildlife area in South Africa. We have Eagles here and I see them from time to time. I did speak to someone from our local university monitoring them recently, I will point them to your page.
