Azalea has taken flight back to Virginia and a familiar place – Big Bethel Reservoir on the York County/Newport News border. She left the NC Tidewater Research Station near Plymouth about 11:00am May 16 flying north crossing back into Virginia about noon. She made an overnight stop at Butler Lake east of Chuckatuck, VA leaving there about 9:00am May 17 and flying right to Big Bethel Reservoir. She stayed overnight at Bethel Manor near Washington Court in York County. As of this map at 3:00pm May 18, Azalea is where Wythe Creek empties into Kiln Creek in the Baker Farm neighborhood in Newport News – white data point.
