Looks like Azalea plans to stay around the North Carolina Tidewater Research Station and the private catfish farms like she did in 2010. Other than a brief flight over Roper, NC on March 15 she has stayed within the confines of the research station and catfish farm. As she did last year she is spending her nights in a communal roost in a section of pine forest on research station property. White data point is as of today March 17 at 9:00am. That sounds like the catfish farm tanks are not protected from predators from the air. Is that the case?
Response – Not sure what tanks you refer to. Catfish ponds are open.
