Camellia has been on the move the past 3 days. When we last posted a satellite map at midnight Feb 27 he was at the Cypress Creek Golf Course in Smithfield. He flew north from there and soared to Surry, VA where he spent the night. On Feb 28 Camellia returned to Little Creek Reservoir near Toano, VA and stayed there overnight. About 11:00am yesterday March 1 he began heading south crossing Williamsburg, Hampton, Ocean View in Norfolk and at 2:00pm was directly over Norfolk Botanical Garden (Joe Foreman got photos of 2 juveniles at that time – one Camellia?). From there he took his time to return to Great Neck off Little Lake Dr and Holly Point Rd, a place he has spent several nights including last night March 2. At 8:00am he has crossed the Lynnhaven River to Back Cove Rd – white data point. Click maps to enlarge.

How very exciting! Hope that we get to catch pics of Camellia again, both at NBG and Inlynnview area.
Thanks for all the tracking and hunting, Reese et al. Wish I was there!
