For the first time since October, Camellia has left the Rappahannock River. He had stayed within the four county area of King George, Caroline, Richmond and Essex. About 11:00am yesterday Jan 20 he began flying south from Essex County, crossing King and Queen County into King William County. As of midnight Jan 21 he was just north of Route 30 and south of Boardley, VA near the Pamunkey River.

Camellia is heading my way, (as the crow flies) but it will be too cold this weekend to stand outside looking for him. Wouldn’t that be great to spot him in the skies over Hanover County.
