Azalea has had wanderlust for the past few days visiting familiar places as well as newly discovered places. At midnight Jan 6 she was at Stumpy Lake, at midnight Jan 7 she was at Zamani Lane in Witchduck, and at midnight Jan 8 she was back at Stumpy Lake. She spent part of Jan 6 in the Brandon area and Trashmore II area off I-64 and Centerville Parkway, then back to Witchduck. Jan 7 she spent the morning in the Witchduck/Pembroke area then returned to Lake James in Brandon, then back to Stumpy Lake. Yesterday, Jan 8 she spent the morning wandering about the Stumpy Lake area including the golf course. She left Stumpy Lake about 1:00pm and flew to the Albemarle & Chesapeake Canal in Chesapeake. At 5:00pm, the time of this map, she was between North Landing Road and Centerville Parkway in a heavily wooded area on the A&C Canal (see closeup map).

She’s offering a real challenge for the local photographers hoping to get that “money shot”
🙂
I can’t believe she was so close to me and I didn’t see her! 🙁
Response – Margy – I know just how you feel!. Friday morning the satellite data shows that I was within 100 yards of Azalea in Witchduck and did not see her. That girl knows just when to vanish. – Reese
Wow Reese….that is tough….to be that close and not see her. Hopefully both of us will see her soon! Good Luck!
